
Macaroon Recipes
Ingredients :
1cup finely grounded almonds
1& 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
3 large egg whites
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup of jam , chocolate ganache , or buttercream frosting(any flavour)
How to ?
1.Mix the grounded almond together with the confectioners sugar in a bowl .
2.mix the eggs whites and the salt together in a seperate bowl and beat it till it turns soft and fluffy .
3 . mix the granulated sugar together with the egg that have been beaten , whip it until it turns glossy .
4. mix the almond and sugar mixture with the egg mixture with a spatula in a folding techniques gently till blended .
Tips (the meringue mixture will flatten out after folding in the almond flour)
5. put the baking sheet on the baking tray .
6.fill the meringue mixture into a pastry bag 3/8 in. tip or plastic baggie
7. squirt 1inch meringue onto the baking sheet .
Tips(Leave 2inche between each rounded cookies )
8.bake it to 250degrees to 20-25min
9.spread some jam or chocolate ganache on the the bottom of one merigue and cover it with another merigue to make it look like a sandwich .
